Bynder is a leader in cloud-based AI-powered digital asset management, and its Solutions team is expanding to meet growing demand. We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven, and natural problem-solver to support leading enterprises in growing their creative and marketing initiatives, leading to quantifiable business outcomes.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Sales team, introducing Bynder to prospects and customers to strengthen their creative and marketing initiatives. You will deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations to help prospective customers and partners understand the business benefits. Becoming a trusted advisor, you will consult on solutions, validate needs, and resolve technical objections or barriers to sale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but growing office for a global market leader. The APAC region is a high priority and this is an opportunity to facilitate the growth and scale. We’re looking for someone that wants to be involved in building a positive, strong, results and team oriented culture in the Melbourne office. You will work in close partnership with multiple teams across the business, including Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Partnerships, and Marketing, with many colleagues distributed across the globe. You will directly impact key business objectives, including revenue, product quality, and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives to win business, jointly navigating complex sales cycles.

  • Become an expert on the Bynder company, product, and value proposition.

  • Own all technical aspects of tenders and presentations.

  • Understand customer businesses and use cases to design innovative and compelling solutions, leveraging AI-powered insights for enhanced efficiency and impact.

  • Translate complex, technical scenarios into layman's terms and quantifiable business value.

  • Convince through customized demonstrations, managed trials, and proofs of concept, showcasing tangible business outcomes.

  • Scope out requirements, producing Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with customer onboarding expectations.

  • Respond to advanced product and technical questions, RFPs, and security questionnaires in a precise and timely manner.

  • Help bridge the gap between Product and Sales, capturing customer feedback to help shape our future product roadmap, particularly informing AI-driven feature development.

  • Work closely with our Onboarding and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition with well-managed expectations and hand-overs.

  • Become a trusted advisor to prospects/customers, guiding them through their digital transformation journey.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, commercial, or technical field or related experience.

  • 3+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience (or equivalent B2B customer-facing experience) for an enterprise SaaS company.

  • A strong combination of business and technical acumen, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong solution selling skills and executing on account strategy, well-versed in the Challenger Sale Model.

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, confident in front of large audiences and skilled at articulating value propositions.

  • Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

  • Senior persona, experienced in and eloquent when presenting to C-suite executives, focusing on strategic impact.

  • Strong at developing relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent team player who thrives in a high-growth, team-selling environment.

  • Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and APIs, with an awareness of AI integration possibilities.

  • Natural curiosity and an internal impulse to leverage AI to accelerate productivity and effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling cloud technology in the SaaS model, particularly with AI-powered solutions.

  • Knowledge of marketing, brand, media, or content management technologies such as CMS, PIM, DXP, and an understanding of how AI is transforming these spaces.

  • Experience engaging with marketing, brand, and creative personas, understanding their challenges and how technology, especially AI, can solve them.

  • Curious, proactive, and high-growth mindset, continuously seeking to leverage new technologies like AI for customer success.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of industry trends and thought leadership in digital asset management and AI.
