As our Principal QA Engineer & QA CoE Lead, you will be the heartbeat of our Quality Center of Excellence. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, mentoring our senior engineers and steering our transition toward Agentic QA. If you are a pragmatic quality advocate who believes that "Quality" is a shared responsibility, not a final bottleneck, we want to talk to you.

What you will do:

Your mission is to ensure that excellence is baked into every line of code we ship. You will:

  • Lead the Vision: Evolve our organization-wide quality engineering roadmap. You’ll define the standards and governance frameworks that ensure our 600+ person organization scales without breaking.
  • Architect for Scale: Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright) and integrate them seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Drive Innovation: Lead the charge into Agentic AI. You’ll explore and implement AI-driven test generation, self-healing tests, and intelligent defect analysis to move us toward a future of autonomous testing.
  • Mentor & Multiply: Act as the lead for our QA Center of Excellence. You’ll coach Senior QA Engineers and Engineering teams, building a community of practice where knowledge sharing is the norm.
  • Own the Lifecycle: Partner with Product Managers and DevOps to identify risks early (Shift-Left) and monitor key metrics like defect leakage and automation reliability to ensure our SaaS platform stays world-class.

What you have:

You are a technical authority with a "systems-thinking" mindset. You bring:

  • Experience: 10+ years in Software Testing/Quality Engineering, with at least 5 years focused heavily on building automation architecture for large-scale SaaS platforms.
  • The Tech Stack: Deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java. You are a pro with UI and API testing tools (Playwright, Pact, Postman) and performance testing (k6, JMeter).
  • Leadership DNA: You have a proven track record of mentoring senior-level talent and influencing stakeholders across Architecture, Security, and Product.
  • AI Curiosity: You aren’t just following the AI hype; you have a practical interest in how LLMs and agentic workflows can optimize test data generation and execution.
  • The "Bynder" Mindset: You are pragmatic. You know when to automate, when to test manually, and how to stay calm while troubleshooting complex cloud-native environments.

What Success looks like:

  • In 6 Months: You’ve established the QA CoE, defined our core automation standards, and gained the trust of our engineering squads.
  • In 12-18 Months: Our automation coverage has peaked, senior QAs are operating autonomously under your framework, and "Agentic AI" is a functional part of our CI/CD pipeline, not just a goal.
