The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing web applications using Laravel. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading solutions within the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel, AWS and MySQL
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features
• Drive technical initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality code
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed
• Have a strong understanding on how to approach concepts like technical debt
• Monitor and optimise the performance of web applications
• Support the customer success team with technical challenges

Requirements of the role:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer or similar role
• Strong understanding of PHP 8+ and Laravel 9+ framework
• Experience with a number of testing practices such as TDD and BDD
• Experience with RESTful APIs and building scalable web services
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
