About the role:
At Bynder, we don’t just "do HR"—we build the engine that powers our people. As we scale, we are evolving our People Operations team (POPs) team to be more data-driven, automated, and AI-enabled.
We are looking for a motivated, tech-curious intern based in our Barcelona office to join us for 6 months. This isn’t a traditional "filing and coffee" internship. You will be a central resource for our EMEA team (Spain, United Kingdom and the Netherlands), helping us centralize administrative workflows and research projects. By taking ownership of some operational tasks, you will enable the wider POPs team to focus on high-impact tasks and the implementation of AI-driven HR transformation. This role requires a high level of maturity and the absolute ability to handle confidential information with total discretion.
If you enjoy working with people and are not afraid of taking ownership of administrative tasks, we want to hear from you!
During your internship you will help us with:
- Achieving Operational Excellence - Support the end-to-end lifecycle of our employees, from executing seamless onboarding for new hires to managing offboarding logistics.
- Optimizing our Global Admin Hub - Act as the administrative backbone for the POPs team by managing data integrity in our HR System, drafting contracts, and maintaining digital employee files.
- Office Presence & Support - Serve as a friendly, local point of contact for HR-related questions in our Barcelona office, ensuring a great employee experience.
- Data & Reporting - Assist in pulling reports from our HR System to help the team track key metrics like turnover, diversity, and growth.
- Administrative optimization - Support the team with optimizing internal People processes and documentation.
Skills & Competencies
What you have:
- You are currently enrolled in a school/university throughout the whole duration of the internship.
- You follow an education in Human Resources / Psychology / Business Administration, etc.
- You are comfortable working with highly confidential information (salaries, contracts, personal data) and understand the importance of privacy in an HR environment.
- You are tech savvy and interested in current HR trends and HRIS systems like HiBob and AI tools.
- You have an eye for detail—you spot the typo in a contract before it goes out.
- You are fluent in English; any other languages (Spanish/Dutch) are a plus.
- You are based in Barcelona and available for 6 months.

What we offer:
- Work experience in a scale-up tech company and the chance to be part of a young and ambitious team of internationals

- Personal development opportunities in a tech-forward environment
- A broad scope of responsibilities—you won't just see one corner of HR; you'll see how a global POPs team operates.

- Monthly Internship allowance (€500 for Bachelor / €600 for Master students)
