The Senior Manager, Web Experience, is the dedicated owner of the marketing website, responsible for its performance, user experience, and technical health, as a key channel for communicating our unique differentiation, showcasing our products, and generating demand. This role sits within the Brand & Content Marketing team and reports to the Senior Director of Brand and Content. The Senior Manager, Web Experience leads the website development team, dictates the SEO strategy, and drives the holistic website roadmap to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
Key responsibilities:
Website strategy & performance ownership
- Define and own the holistic website strategy and roadmap, ensuring the site effectively supports marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and overall business objectives.
- Documenting, measuring, and improving key conversion paths on the website and collaborating with the Growth team on conversion landing pages, A/B tests, and experimentation.
- Manage the website budget, vendor relationships, and technology stack (CMS, hosting, CDNs, etc.).
- Establish, monitor, and report on key website metrics, including Organic Traffic, Conversion Rates, Core Web Vitals, and overall contribution to the marketing pipeline.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth (Demand Generation), and Sales to ensure consistent messaging and efficient lead flow from the site to Salesforce.
Technical management & development leadership
- Lead and manage the website development team (in-house and agency), overseeing sprints, code quality, and deployment schedules.
- Own the technical integrity of the site, ensuring high performance, security, availability and accessibility.
- Oversee the implementation of new designs, features, landing pages, and integrations with essential marketing tools (Craft CMS, Optimizely, Salesforce).
- Lead the continuous A/B testing and personalization strategy for key conversion paths and site elements.
SEO/GEO strategy & execution
- Own the relationship with our SEO agency and execute the comprehensive SEO & GEO strategy
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to inform the editorial calendar.
- Monitor site health using tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and coordinate with the development team to promptly resolve technical SEO issues
- Partner with the Content team to ensure new content is strategically optimized for target keywords and search intent.
Required qualifications:
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with 3+ years focused specifically on B2B SaaS websites and organic growth.
- Technical acumen: Proven ability to manage a modern CMS (headless CMS) and deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
- SEO expertise: Expert-level knowledge of technical SEO and GEO, ranking factors, and demonstrable success in increasing organic traffic and conversions.
- Leadership: Experience managing or leading a development team and running a formal project management process (Agile, Scrum)
- Analytical skills: Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or similar tools, capable of translating complex website data into insights and actionable strategies.
