What you will do:

Bynder's Internal Analytics platform is essential for streamlining our product and business growth by providing best-in-class data and insights to our stakeholders precisely when they need it. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Data Analyst who will be responsible for and will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, working closely with stakeholders to support business decisions. With proficiency in modern data tools and best practices, you will help us scale our analytics capabilities and drive impactful results.

What you will do in your day to day:

Responsibilities

  • Technical Contribution: Leverage SQL to contribute to and maintain existing dbt models, adhering to best practices for analytics engineering (optimized queries, window functions, clustering, etc.)
    Create dashboards in ThoughtSpot, built upon Snowflake, to enable the company and stakeholders in the business, and contribute to maintaining a high technical bar for the team.

  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Act as a mentor in the team, proactively fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Heavily involved in the code review process and open to leading open code base improvement initiatives.

  • Continuous Improvement and Strategy: Identify opportunities to enhance data infrastructure, processes, and reporting systems by staying updated on emerging technologies and trends, recommending relevant tools and techniques, and taking ownership of key metrics, ensuring data accuracy and performance tracking aligns with organizational goals.

  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely as a data partner with internal stakeholders to identify key opportunities and actionable items, and act as a trusted advisor on data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Who you are:

  • Self-motivated individual as well as being a team player in the Internal Analytics team, collaborating closely with other Data Teams and Internal Stakeholders and very eager to learn and improve yourself.

  • You have worked as a Data Analyst (or similar position like Analytics Engineer) for at least 5 years;

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or a related role.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in SQL

    • Experience in cloud computing (e.g., AWS) and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) is essential.

    • Solid understanding of business intelligence concepts, KPIs, and reporting best practices.

    • Proficiency in python and associated data analysis tools.

    • Experience with automation, machine learning, or data science is a plus.

  • Communication: Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members, leadership, and stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams of engineers and designers to deliver exceptional products, also being a team technical reference point.
