About the role:

We are looking for you, as an IT Engineering intern, to join us on our Global IT Team. You will have a wide range of tasks, from solving day-to-day problems, to developing the innovative IT landscape within the organization. You will provide ideas and solutions to create a smoother working IT system. We are a team who is constantly looking for the latest SaaS technology that can improve our day to day activities, we have successfully implemented a fully automated Onboarding/Offboarding Processes, Certificate-based authentication for Wifi/VPN, Implement AI in our major tooling stack, successfully implement Infrastructure as a Code ( IaC ) using Terraform and Python. What you will do:

• Setup and maintain all IT equipment
• Improve our Onboarding/Offboarding Process using automation
• Help troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to core Systems and infrastructure
• Work in Public Clouds (we use Amazon Web Service and Google Cloud Platform)
• Improve our security infrastructure (Firewall, Router/Switches, Access Points) – (we use Cisco)
• Maintain our MDM "Mobile Device Management" Platform (we use Jamf )
• Cloud Orchestration, Automation & Service configuration (we use Terraform )
• Take part in the asset management lifecycle (provision, maintain, restore, etc.)
• LifeCycle Management and Identity Access Management (we use OKTA to address authentication, authorization and accounting)
• Program languages (we mainly use Python)
• Work in our Rotterdam office

What you have:

• You need to be available for a minimum of a 6 months long full-time internship starting ASAP!
• You follow an education in IT or in a related field
• You need to be fluent in English
• You possess top-notch communication skills in speaking and in writing
• You have an undying motivation to help and learn new things
• You need to be enrolled in a Dutch/European university throughout the whole duration of the internship

Nice to haves:

• You are a motivated, proactive, independent, and organized self-starter
• You are service oriented and have excellent troubleshooting skills
• It will be considered a plus, if you have any experience working with G-suite, Okta, and Apple devices
