Every victory counts

Bianca

Meet Bianca Ravida, our Senior Finance Administrator and Salesforce QA expert based in the Boston office. Bianca's journey at Bynder began over six years ago, and her love for the company culture was instantaneous. She recalls, "I've been so fortunate to have been a part of so many different projects during my time at Bynder, but the most impactful was working with the BizOps team to automate invoicing via Salesforce to Netsuite. It was that project that really piqued Bianca's curiosity in Salesforce and working behind the scenes to improve our day-to-day processes and eventually led me to become QA."

Reflecting on her time at Bynder, Bianca shares one of her most valuable lessons: that every victory counts, regardless of size. She makes it a point to celebrate her own and her team's achievements regularly amongst the hustle of daily tasks and larger projects.

Finding your niche as a leader

Almar

Almar Ruisch, Senior Director of Professional Services, shares his journey from being a project manager to leading multiple teams of subject matter experts. His transformation and success at Bynder have taught him a crucial lesson: everyone can excel in a certain niche, and it is a leader's responsibility to match the right person with the right job.

"At Bynder, I figured out that if we encourage innovation and let people take risks—even if they don't always succeed—the next big idea might come from unexpected folks. It's pretty much how I kicked off my journey at Bynder years ago."

Embracing Authenticity

Madeline

For Madeleine, maintaining authenticity emerged as a crucial lesson. In a male-dominated industry, finding her voice was a journey. Inspired by female leadership, Madeleine Rowe now empowers young team members to be themselves and reach their full potential.

Madeleine Rowe, Bynder's Director of Customer Success, EMEA, has learned the importance of authenticity and the value of being true to herself. In a male-dominated field, she encountered moments of gender bias. To overcome this, she adopted the mantra "kill them with competency," proving that competence and authenticity go hand in hand.

Resilience and Agility in the SaaS World

Navigating the swift currents of the SaaS landscape taught Madeleine the art of agility. Adapting swiftly, pivoting when necessary, and realigning focus amid evolving initiatives or changing requirements became her second nature. Trust in decision-makers and commitment to Bynder's vision empowered Madeleine to thrive in this dynamic industry.

Madeleine's reliance on the leadership's direction empowered her to navigate the challenges, and Madeleine's manager's invaluable guidance and unwavering support were instrumental in achieving her goals. Learning from their experiences honed her skills and imparted a sense of gratitude for their mentorship. This support system highlighted the importance of nurturing talent and fostering growth through mentorship.

Turning 180 degrees

Martin

Martin's journey led him through unexpected turns and a transformative career switch. With a background in geodesy (the science of accurately measuring and understanding the Earth's geometric shape, orientation in space, and gravity), a field seemingly distant from coding, his transition to the world of coding was fueled by a desire to challenge himself. Joining Bynder marked a pivotal moment, offering Martin a platform where he could nurture his curiosity and thrive in an environment ideal for learning.

As a front-end developer, Martin honed his coding skills to a new level and found himself surrounded by an incredible team. Their collective knowledge became a wellspring of inspiration and learning.

Courage to Leap: The courage to take that initial leap, shifting from a familiar background to the unknown, was vital. It taught him that stepping out of one's comfort zone is where true growth lies.

Martin's journey from geodesy to coding is a testament to the Bynder spirit to learn and thrive.

Martin says, "The only thing that stops you from growing is yourself. If you are willing to learn and put in the effort, you can achieve anything."

Communication is the Key

Francois

One of Francois Ribeyron most memorable experiences at Bynder has been collaborating with a diverse range of talented individuals, catering to companies of varying scales worldwide. This exposure provided invaluable insights into different cultures and digital practices across industries, enriching his ability to effectively advise clients and mentor new hires.

Throughout his tenure at Bynder, Francois learned the significance of effective communication. Listening attentively and sharing knowledge emerged as fundamental skills, enabling him to navigate personally and professionally with care and empathy.

Falling in Bynder Love

At Bynder, we take immense pride not just in the work we do but also in the incredible individuals who contribute to our success. Bynder love is at the core of what we do, with a drive to create an inclusive environment.

Bianca recognizes the significance of stepping back to acknowledge every little accomplishment. She genuinely feels Bynder love is a very real thing. "We're all in this together."

Madeleine Rowe - "Bynder love flows all the way from the top down, and management's level of openness and transparency is refreshing."

Martin Krasilniko - "There are no statuses, no barriers, no closed doors. Everyone is open and willing to help. I think that is the most unique thing about Bynder."

The Ongoing Excitement: Ongoing excitement is vital for a company's success. It sparks motivation, fuels innovation, and boosts productivity. We believe when employees are excited about their work, they're more engaged, creative, and committed.

Patrick

Patrick, our Front-end engineer, highlights what he loves about Bynder: the company's commitment to caring for its employees. "They care about the work-life balance and are always looking to improve it. All my friends always say "I want to work at Bynder" when I talk with them about work. I think that says enough on its own."

"After six years at Bynder, what still excites me is I'm really looking forward to working on the Creative Workflow module with the team. It's a very complex module with a lot of options and configurations. By working on this, we can make it easier for end-users to use. Bynder's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation keeps employees engaged and motivated to strive for excellence."

Together, we stand with a shared commitment to shape our careers

As we celebrate our Byndies’ achievements and experiences, we're reminded of the strength that comes from embracing diversity, fostering innovation, and supporting each other's development. Here's to many more years of mutual growth, learning, and success together!
